If the ship squares do not show as red it means you still have to hit them more.Īll ships except the aircraft carrier are only 1 cell wide, while the aircraft carrier is 2 cells wide by 5 squares long. When you damage an entire ship it will show a red X in each square of the ship and each adjacent square will be green (as ships must have at least 1 cell of space between them). Your grid shows a red marker whenever you hit a ship & a green market where ever you have fired that did not hit a missle. It is best to not place ships directly next to each other so that when an opponent finds one ship they do not run into the next ship which is near it.
